How to adjust coordinates ?

Asked by techno-mole

Firstly many thanks for the hard work put in to getting this driver working for me on lucid.

I am wondering how I would go about adjusting the various coordinates related to the tablet, specifically the "z" axis, the reason being is that I am quite heavy handed at times and I have found that the stylus is very sensitive, which is good, but I wondered how I might dull it down a little ?

It seems that the stylus will work if I hold it about half an inch from the tablets surface, is there a way I could reduce that gap a little ? in previous versions I would adjust the "z" axis by increasing the bottom end if you like, o for example - if the pressure range is say 0 - 1024 then I would change the 0 to say 5 or 6 which seemed to allow me to actually have to apply a small amount of pressure in order to get it to work, rather than it working half an inch a way from the tablet.

Would I need to edit one of the udev rules ? or something like that, and where would I need to look to find them ?

Cheers.

Take a look at /etc/udev/rules.d/70-xorg-wizardpen-settings.rules
You'll need to enable (remove the #) and adjust TopZ.

Cheers, I read through the bug report i originally posted and noticed you mentioned udev rules, so I started looking through the various files in the wizardpen folder, i did find what I thought i might be able to adjust, but your answer has cleared it up.

Many thanks.
