Wireless G adapter

Asked by alexnb185

I am a beginner in Linux, I am using the newest non-beta Ubuntu. I can't find anywhere online that will help me get this adapter to work. the real trip up is that I can't get on the internet while i am on that os. So if anyone had a problem like mine and knows where I can go to get a download-able driver, or a way to install my windows drivers on it. I am using a zyxel g-200 adapter.

post or email ... please, if you have any idea or tips tell me about it... thanks

I guessing this is a USB wireless card if you are using Ubuntu or Kubuntu here are some links that could help I do not use wireless cards on my systems so I am not the one to direct you how this is done yet but the links should help you.
you will need to tell us what version of Ubuntu you are using. here is the link to wireless documents I looked at the HCl and did not see your card on the list but does not mean it will not work we need to sort out the main problem.

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessNetworking?highlight=%28wireless%29

and

https://help.ubuntu.com/community/WifiDocs/WirelessTroubleShootingGuide?highlight=%28wireless%29

open a terminal by going to launch accessories terminal and please type in theses commands lsusb and iwconfig and post them here by copy and pasting them. so others can help as well and take a look at the documents on the links they might help you also. read the docs as these may help.

I hope I helped :)

Can you help with this problem?
