Would it be possible to switch workspaces by scrolling on the panel?

I think it might be useful to be able to change to the next or previous workspace by scrolling with the scrollwheel when the cursor is above the panel.

You could always submit a patch, however, I'm not sure that it would be accepted because it doesn't seem intuitive. I might suggest using the scroll wheel over the workspace switcher at the bottom, or using the scroll wheel while holding down the Super key since it is already associated with workspace functions (Super + Tab, Super + S, etc.) Although, I think I would prefer Super+Scroll to zoom the desktop like Super + + and Super + - do today.
