What method draws the wingpanel

Does the draw method in BasePanel.vala draws the wingpanel on screen? If so where is it called? I couldn't find any place which calls/uses the draw method in BasePanel.vala

Sorry, Just saw that Base panel is a abstract class and draw is override from gtk.window class.
