Blur Behind in Wingpanel

Other panels/taskbars such as in Mac OS X and Windows 7 have blur behind so it fits in better with different wallpapers.

As mutter supports blur behind, can this be a feature?

Or, do it like Mac OS X (use wallpaper daemon to add blur and shadow to panel).

Y Lin, this is possible in Compiz, which is the compositor we're using in Luna (I believe). However, it's a pretty taxing process on some graphics cards, so we'll likely not be able to ship it on by default.

Can you help with this problem?
