Port mapping failed...
Hi!
In my DC++ configuration I chose the option to let DC++ determine the best connectivy settings.
When I start the programm it shows me this:
[22:29] Connectivity: Determining the best connectivity settings...
[22:29] Connectivity: Local network with possible NAT detected, trying to map the ports...
[22:29] Connectivity: Port mapping: Failed to initalize the MiniUPnP interface
[22:29] Connectivity: Port mapping: Failed to map the Transfer port (53184 TCP) with the NAT-PMP interface
[22:29] Connectivity: Port mapping: Failed to map the Transfer port (53184 TCP) with the Windows UPnP interface
[22:29] Connectivity: Port mapping: Failed to create port mappings
[22:29] Connectivity: Active mode could not be achieved; a manual configuration is recommended for better connectivity
I get this error since WIN7 Professional is installed on my notebook, before I had WIN7 Home and it worked fine with the same settings in DC++.
I live in a students residence, so I don’t have access to a router. There is a hub that can just be connected to by students in the students residence, so I think the problem is WIN7 Professional or my notebook.
I even installed WIN7 new, but I still got this problem.
I have also read through questions asked by people with the same problem, but none of the solutions there worked for me.
Thanks in advance for your help!
