Trouble launching remoteapp from windows xp

Hey, I'm running Ubuntu Gnome 13.10 x64 and I've managed to get remoteApp support working on a Windows XP box when connecting from a Windows 7 client. The thing is that when I do that from Ubuntu I don't get the app returned to me, instead a remote desktop session opens up and the app hasn't launched. I can't get it running no matter what I do. I read somewhere that perhaps freerdp doesn't support remoteapp in windows xp, is this true?

Also make sure you've implemented registry settings as described here:

in section "Configure the RemoteApp Host"
