Can't run in Win7

I'm trying to test out the Chrome OS on a USB drive

I've got the files and skip past the Error 8 (as was warned not to worry about it) but when the program starts to write the image, it just crashes. Win7 (Home Premium OEM) doesn't provide any useful error info. I've tried XP/Vista compatibility modes and tried running as an Administrator... nothing.

Thoughts?
