Asking for permission for creating school software packages

I hope, that I ask my question in the right part of the forum..

I run a small IT company in Hamburg in northern germany, we're working primarily for schools repairing computers and helping with their needs.

We build software packages for a third party school management tool called IServ and we wanted to build a software package for the win32diskimager for which we need the developer's permission.

We dont make profit with the software - schools only pay a fee of 5 EUR per month for the access to our system, as well as the maintenance of the system.
