Temporary files/folder for the images

Asked by Diego

Hi, greetings from Argentina.
I read an sdcard image containing the operating system of an mfp copier that was dissasembled exclusivley to make a copy of that card, once the image was readen the machine was assembled again and the technician leaves, the problem is that i shut down my laptop and forgot to make a copy of the readen card, there is any kind of temporary file or folder that keeps a copy of the readen image?
Thanks in advance and sorry about my poor english.
Diego.

Sorry, but no, we don't write the image to a temporary file at all. We read/write directly from device to device.

The program will not allow you to select Read without entering a proper filename in the Image File window. If you were able to Read from a device, this would have to have been filled in and the filename selected would need to have been read/write capable for you to even start.

The default directory is C:\users\<loginID>\Downloads and the default extension is .img. I would check there for your file.

Ah - true. Was just thinking of writing, since that's what I mostly do. My bad.
