The testing has been somewhat limited due to lack of available hardware and Windows releases. That said, I usually try to test changes and enhancements as best as I can. For the most basic parts (reading and writing to removable flash devices), I try to test on a variety of different sized usb sticks and SD cards, with the largest being 16G. Most of this testing has been on Windows 7, as that is what I have on my work laptop (I'm primarily a Linux developer at home). I also try to debug some of the more widespread issues on VMs for the different versions of Windows (7, 8.1, 10 prerelease). Due to api changes, Windows XP and Vista support were dropped as of 0.9.5. It was either that or add some extensive test code to change api calls based on OS version.

Beyond that, I have to rely on user feedback. When putting out a new release, I also post warnings that this software needs more extensive testing than I am capable of doing (like systems with raid0, odd built-in SD readers, etc). I also run the release through a variety of anti-virus scanners to make sure it doesn't hit any false-positives.

Having said all that, as you can see development has stalled over the last year. This is largely due to me having little time to dedicate to this project at the moment. Between work and home stuff, it has been very difficult to find development time to work on this. Hopefully this fall I can get back into it though. I know there are a lot of merge requests and features people are asking for, as well as new versions of Windows to test on.
