sd card with multiple partitions sized incorrectly

Asked by Jon Pryce

I have a 4GB SD card that was formatted in Ubuntu with 2 partitions:

1. A 74MB or so boot partition (FAT32)
2. The remainder of the 4GB as a linux partition (EXT3).

When I copy an image of the card to a file in Windows it only seems to read the data for the first partition. I thought this was meant to be a raw copy? How do i make it just copy all sectors of the drive?

Jon

Which version of Win32DiskImager are you using (the version number is in the lower left hand corner)? If it is an older version, please try an updated release.

If this is a newer (0.9 or 0.9.5) version, please convert this to a bug so I can better track it.

Thanks,
