how to remove write protection and how to format that pendrive

Hi all,
         i have sand disk pendrive.when i am formating the pendrive using gparted it is not formated.
when inserting pendrive the output of dmesg is

it shows that write protection is on.how to remove that in ubuntu 12.04.
please help me?

This is outside of the scope of this utility. I would suggest looking at Sandisk's forums for help, or google search. Sandisk should have a utility to lock/unlock their pen drives.
