Installer

Asked by Mark Raymond Jr.

Alright, so I found this to be a bit of a problem that you couldn't install the application, mainly because I use it so much.

So, I came up with this, in the hopes that you update the site with a download to it. The Program I used to create it, Inno Setup is completely open source, and you can have the source file I used if you'd like. Right now, it's only in English.

This download will let you install the application.

It's completely safe and virus free.

I don't understand the benfit of an installer. Everything is self-contained in 1 directory - nothing needs to be "installed". Unzip it, and you're done - what issue am I missing?

Well, I use the application frequently, and I leave it in my downloads folder... I clear out my downloads folder whenever I can. And just sticking the application somewhere on my hard drive doesn't work for me.

It's already had 140 downloads at the time of me writing this.

That was a nice thing to do. It'll especially help the non-geeks that don't know what to do with the contents of the binary folders. I was going to add that I was surprised that the developers did not think of this, but then I did remember reading somewhere here that they did say "alpha"

The file seems to of gone, could someone up it again or even email it over to me?
