What tools are used to build Win32DiskImager

For versions up to and including v0.9, we are using the QT 4.84 release and mingw 20120426 build, archived at https://sourceforge.net/projects/win32diskimager/files/Build%20Tools/. You will also want to install qt-creator-windows-opensource-2.6.1.exe from the same archive. To create new translations, you will only need to download and install the qt-win-opensource-4.8.4-mingw.exe, and run QT Linguist.

As this environment doesn't support Windows API's past XP, we are currently migrating to an updated tool base. This FAQ will be updated once that has been established.
