HOWTO for Config files

Asked by JPi

Hi,
I found this application super useful.
I was just wondering where I can find a help for writing my own config files (I need to scale up the Plugin.acc axes, for example).

Is there any tutorial? I tried this link (that I got from wminput) but is down
http://gentoo-wiki.com/HOWTO_Use_Multimedia_Keys

Thx for the help and the program!

JPi

Hi JPi, i'm with you: there is no good documentation for creating your own mappings. The better links y can provide you cames from cwiid source code:

List of wii controls:
http://abstrakraft.org/cwiid/browser/trunk/doc/wminput.list

List of actions:
http://abstrakraft.org/cwiid/browser/trunk/wminput/action_enum.txt

If you put both together, maybe you can perform some good mappings. You have some good examples too provided by wminput on /etc/cwiid/wminput

Please let me know if you create some good and useful mappings. I'm thinking about to publish some kind of collection of wminput mappings so users of Wiican could list, upload and download new mappings for the community.

Ok, Thanks
I will try. At the moment what I want to do is a nice Mapping for OpenOffice presentations.
The next thing I would like to do is a mapping for Inkscape...kind of Air tablet, jeje

I will let you know.

Gracias!

I've used early-developed Wiican for some presentations too! but i've lost the mapping. It was funny to control the presentation with the wiimote cross and rotate the compiz cube with A+B+Roll, the people was fascinated.

J. Félix Ontañón (fontanon)'s links no longer work. Try these instead:
http://abstrakraft.org/cwiid/browser/doc/wminput.list
http://abstrakraft.org/cwiid/browser/wminput/action_enum.txt
Same site, same developers, but the previous links appear to have been moved to these new locations.
