Fixing typos in translations

Asked by Angelo Locritani

How can I fix typos in original English text (like https://translations.launchpad.net/widelands/trunk/+pots/scenario-t01.wmf/it/19/+translate, "you can also click farer away" instead of "you can also click farther away") in a way these changes are reported correctly into "Translations" section of launchpad?

Should I just change it into the file that contains it ("campaigns/t01.wmf/scripting/texts.lua" in this case)?
If I do that on a trunk-based branch, will any change propagate in the right place, when branch is merged back into the trunk?

It is exactly as you said:
* create a trunk based branch
* change the source files
* commit the changed files to the branch
* finally create a merge request to trunk

And of course you are right, that it should be "farther"

If you don't know how to create a branch, you're welcome to open a bug report, and we'll take care of it.

If you're translating Widelands into another language, you can also open an issue on Transifex.
