wicd

wicd as a library

Hallo,
I have wincd installed on my Raspberry and it works very well!
Now i would like to use wincd as a library in my own python program.
Is there a documentation about the functions in wicd?

I am looking for a function to check the signal quality.
And a function for reconect, if signal ist lost.
