Where's the API?

Update: - Full set of developer tools, documentation etc about the API now at:
http://plings.info

We now have data for 22 local authorities - including Stockport and Manchester and this should continue to grow.

If you want to play with your own data you might want to check out the XML Schema and create your own data, or the Simple Plings In tool at http://launchpad.net/simpleplingsin.

At the moment it is possible to run both applications and get one to show the data from the other.

Some things you could do with the existing data:
Filter it for just the things you want
Create cross boundary plings - want to know about things that happen in either Manchester or Stockport, then mash the data together.
Mash up the existing data with your own data/ideas/applications/widgets (we'd love to see them!)
