Where does webfav save its bookmarks?

I'm looking into utilizing the webfav extension in another way than with UNR, and I'm wondering where it saves its bookmarks, and if it actually saves anything without its recommended package "netbook-launcher"?

What I'm aiming for is to have an app deal with a smaller number of bookmarks than the easily overcrowded bookmarks within the common Firefox frame.
