Themable background

I already though about that :P
I want to add it but I don't know when. I have to finish more basic things before.

And maybe add an option to disable automatic changing of the background color. For example I prefer my background to be quite dark and during the day the blue is to light.

I want the theme to have a txt file where you can specify the colors for each period of the day.

Or better yet (if you have more spare time left): add a gui to configure it.

What about using IMAGES for the background? I.E. I have some pictures of my favorite landscape and I wish to use them as background? Wouldn't be bad, isn't it?

I'm going to register a blueprint so that I don't forget it.

In the same vein..... I would like to be able to change font colors too. The white is just to light for the day time pics. I know it would be a pain to do, but it would be awesome to be able change the font to black for the light pics and white for the dark pics.

Great app though, perfect for the living room NEC all in one PC.

I would like to specify my own range of pictures either as a function of weather, or - more simply - as a function of time of day. The provided background is nice enough, it's just not my style.
