That's really cool. Great work. The vala-port branch also now works on my computer, so I've had a bit of a play and seen this in action. Very nice stuff! I like how there's options to display thing like barometer and visibility and that they're not displayed by default. I also like the arrows to indicate direction.

Like Cullen, I think it looks a bit crowded, but I'm not sure what the solution is (we need to convey a lot of information in not much space). I agree layout 4 looks the best (and should be the default). In the version running on my computer, I can't see how to make three days of forecast (rather than just one) come up in the menu.

I'll have a play with the code over the next couple of days. It's looking really, really good!
