Would it be possible to change the weather info source?

Asked by Sam Hewitt

I love that this indicator is being developed, and am excited to see future developments. But, I was wondering that, if in future releases, will it be possible for users to change the source of the weather information? For example, I live in Canada, thus would it ever be possible to select Environment Canada as a source. I am aware that the weather indicator uses the Google Weather API source, but it would be nice to be able to choose my preferred weather source.

Thanks

The application now uses wunderground for weather data rather than Google so offers a wider range of cities, but I don't see why adding a choice of sources couldn't be done at some point in the future - the weather docklet on Docky, for example, allows this.

Fantastic. I did enjoy the Docky weather docklet, but I switched over to AWN and subsquently discovered this applet. :)

Thanks
