ok thank you, modification that i mind modification in wargus
the first that i want to know how to compile the source code (wargus). and then i want to modify character, sound and the last modification for the ai.

Wargus is written in scriptable language lua. Stratagus is loading lua file directly (without compilation step).

Wartool (part of Wargus) is tool which extract data from original Warcraft II DOS CD. It is written in C. All compilation steps are written in Makefile, so run make to compile Wartool.
