Network out of sync

In multiplayer game I have always a "Network out of sync" log, and after some time(5 minutes) it disconect 1 player, "Network out of sync" repeats 100-200 times in short time. What can be a problem?

This happened all the time when I played a network Wargus 2.4 game with five or so people. Funnily enough Freecraft was more stable when it came to network games.

You can force a Network out of sync error by changing the unit LUA files (I tested this out on BOS Wars by changing unit attributes on the server and not on the client).

Could you provide some more information on the environment you were playing multiplayer games in? Was it LAN or internet?

Hmm... what LUA file I must change and how?
I'm playing LAN with wi fi router.
Version 2.2.4 is normal, but 2.2.5 disconects

All player should use the same version of engine and game, else de-synchronisation should occurs.
So if you change your local lua file, it will desync.

If you all use the same version for both engine and game, then it is a bug.
information useful for us to debug is :
- engine/game version
- game log or what you are doing to reproduce the out of sync

It could be you've got high latency on your network. If you can try playing it without using Wi Fi.

Regardless, the Stratagus engine probably needs to be able to cope with desyncs.

Bug #901393 Always "network out of sync" in multiplayer mode was fixed in version 2.2.7
