Will Wallch run with debian wheezy with mate desktop?

Will the above setup work or does anything in the source code need to be changed for Debian Wheezy or Mate Desktop.

Hello Donald !

As you can see in this bug report: https://bugs.launchpad.net/wallpaper-changer/+bug/994517 that was just updated with my answer, there was a Wallch PPA that used to work on multiple different desktop environments.

I decided that there was a security risk on letting the user decide the command to run in order to change the wallpaper and thus we will produce many different DEB packages for different Desktop Environments, so be patient and wait for Wallch 4.0 :D
