Hello and thanks for the question.

Wallch used to work on multiple different DEs including MATE, where you could set a custom command for your DE.

There was a security risk on the application though so this feature was removed.

We are planning to release Wallch 4.0 for multiple DEs (different version per DE), so, stay tuned!
