x64 support?

I am very much interested in trying out your application but I'm only seeing an i386 .deb package for download. I might be missing the obvious here but if I compile the source will work around the fact that I'm running an x64 based system?

Hello Mat, thanks for the interest!

Yes, you can build from source but it is not recommended if you are newbie with the terminal and so. We will provide an x64 version as soon as possible, possibly with the release of V2.1, so stay tuned :P
If you are too excited to try the program out and you just can't wait one-two days, you can try compiling from the source, here: https://sourceforge.net/projects/wall-changer/files/2.0/

Don't forget to read the README for installation info.

Thanks so much for the response. Normally I would dive right now but right now I have a few other things to work on. I'm definitely comfortable enough with linux to build from source, not that I have done it a bunch of times.

Hey Mat, we just added some testing ppas both for 32 and 64 bit, both for gnome 2 and gnome 3, if you want you can give them a try too.
