Youtube Channel Subcription

Hey.

Any plans to have the ability to add youtube channels as podcasts. Loving Vocal, but gpodder handles about 25 or so youtube channels for me [checking them for new video releases every hour then downloading them]. In gpodder you just add the channel url exactly like you add a podcast url.

Something like this on the roadmap or no.

Hi! Sorry, this isn't something that is planned for Vocal. The app is very heavily centered around podcasts, and although YouTube channel subscriptions are similar to them in a lot of ways (episodic content found over an XML-like structure), adding in support for them would restrict some of the things we can do in the future, and would also take development time away from the core product (which is already very limited). It's also worth noting that downloading YouTube videos is technically against their terms of service.
