Blank screens: can I reset dB?

Variety shows me blank screens quite a lot. When I click to view the picture, it comes up, but it's not one in the local folder that is the only thing I have selected.

I guess this is because I initially selected to include google earth pictures, then removed this.

Can I reset the database so it isn't trying to show me things that it then can't?

Or is there another cause and solution for my issue.

Ok so it seems to be blackscreening on images in the folder. This is one in the folder, but the screen is black; if I open it, it's there. The image size is the same as my monitors (I have 4). Sometimes when I click next it still seems to stay black, with a different image.

So I think my initial thought that it was related to items in the database that accessible isn't correct.
