Background changer randomly pixiellates

I am trying to disable the automatic filter which is being applied randomly to the background picture by variety. I would like to have the unmodified pictures displayed.

Turn off all filters under the Effects tab in Preferences.

This did not solve my problem. Even with all filters turned off under the Effects tab in Preferences the Wallpaper that is changed every 20 seconds is still ipixillated sometimes.
