Quotes need better options

Asked by Jason Ward

I've had to turn off the quotes, which is a pity because for the most part I really like them, but the many quotes urging me to trust in god I find offensive and the quotes from Hitler I find alarming and offensive.

I know the content of the quotes is not the responsibility of the app or its maintainers, but having options to exclude offensive quotes would be a great thing.

For the moment the quotes feature is provided as-is - I will not be spending much effort on enhancing it soon. You can limit the quote sources, or you can use the whitelist to limit to specific topics/keywords/authors.

Can you help with this problem?

Provide an answer of your own, or ask Jason Ward for more information if necessary.
