can't go to the url of the picture

I used to be able use the drop down menu and go to the source of the wallpaper (wallbase, flickr, etc...) but now it only shows "Current Desktop Wallpaper" and won't allow me to go to the origin. I've reinstalled it twice now thinking that it might help but no go. Any solutions out there?

This functionality is present only for images that have been downloaded by Variety, not for existing local files - are you sure this is not the reason?
Source of the pictures is saved as metadata in the downloaded image files. What you describe can happen if you have processed your images in some image library software without preserving the whole metadata. Any change this is the case?
