Change wallpaper on command line

I want to make an shortcut to go to the next and previous wallpaper, but I need the command used by the program. Is there any way you guy's tell me? It helps making shortcuts, quicklists, etc...

This is not currently supported, but is a really good idea and relatively simple, so I will implement it for one of the next releases. You may subscribe to the linked bug.

This is supported in the latest committed version and will be released in 0.4.10.
Run "variety --help" to see the available commands.
