How to copy the customization from a real installation of uwuntu to the cubic virtual env

Asked by Marietto

Hello.

I have two questions to ask :

1) it this a bug of uwuntu ? https://ibb.co/rvDP280 ; I imagine that on that place there should be written "uwuntu" and not "ubuntu". is that right ?

2) I've installed uwuntu on one of my SATA disk and I've customized the desktop manager as I want. I did there what I can't do while I'm inside cubic. Now,I want to know how to add my customization inside the cubic virtual environment. Is it enough that I copy all the files and folders from the uwuntu os already installed to cubic ? are there some special files and folders that I should copy there ?

Hi,

1)The lost of the UwUntu branding is marked as bug and it will be solved in the next release :)

2) To edit the Desktop Enviroment in cubic, you have to edit the files manually (with command line), you can't edit it graphically.

Kind regads,
The UwUntu Team.
