how can I change usplash theme?

Please let me know how to change usplash theme.

usplash is unfortunatly not a simple program to customise, which isn't helped by the fact that it changed quite a lot from the Dapper drake version of ubuntu to the Edgy Eft version of ubuntu. luckly we have a handy guide :)

How about bootsplash of gensplash?
I also want to install fbsplash because I want to see consoles with background images.
