IDE flash drive support

USB Creator works great with a USB flash drive and I would like to create an IDE flash drive that has the same behavior. I did try burning an ISO to an IDE flash using USB Creator by connecting the IDE flash drive with a USB to IDE cable, but the resulting IDE flash doesn't boot. Not surprising, but it was worth a shot.
So my question is does anyone know how this could be accomplished? Could USB creator be made to support IDE flash drives too?
