How do I get usb-creator to install ubuntu on the ext2 partition of my flash drive?

Asked by ethana2

I have a 4 GB flash drive, 1 GB FAT, 3 GB ext2. The 'boot' flag is set on the ext2 partition.
I use the FAT partition for files for school and all that, constantly, but I use the ext2 partition for files I don't want Windows or mac users to be able to see or mess with, and that's where I want to put my Ubuntu Jaunty alpha 5 installation. How do I go about doing this?
