default keyboard layout

Asked by Tom

Hello

Thanks for this excellent work. Finally a solution that really takes security serious, not like all the Microsoft promises.

When I take the CD and boot, I have the US keyboard layout (that's normal). But I was not able to change it with cheatcodes on the boot command line (bootkbd=de). I would like to use this CD standalone, that is without saving my settings in a extended truecrypt volume, and my PCs normally have a Swiss German keyboard layout... That's why I would be happy to be able to change the layout with boot parameters. (Ubuntu should be able to do that).

Have I missed something, or is it possible to add this feature?

regards
Tom

I suppose you are starting the UPR-CD or the UPR-multilanguage-DVD in english. To change the keyboard layout at boottime just press F3 at the bootscreen an choose "swiss (german)". You don't have to change the boot command line.

Best regards
Mark
