root privileges

Asked by corv123

I'm using UPR 10.04r2 and I trying to find a way to get root privileges to be able to install programs.
I've seen your post: - "godmode" switch was added to UPR 10.04r2. Just insert "godmode" at the boot-prompt (F6) to get unlocked sudo. - but I can not find godmode option!
Just boot the UPR CD, I press ESC for Boot-menu then I press F6 (Other Options) and I see this:

1) acpi=off
2) noapic
3) nolapic
4) edd=on
5) nomodeset
6) Copy to RAM

but nothing about "godmode".

Please I need your help.

Thank you in advance.
