Hey I get this error and it causes the program to not launch. Anyone have any ideas? Thanks for any help on this. I am using Ubuntu 12.10 64bit linux mint 14 Nadia cinnamon.

Unsettings is a configuration program for Unity and doesn't work if you don't have Unity.

I've created a bug for this as Unsettings should show a proper error message instead of crashing if Unity can't be found.

Can you help with this problem?
