Launcher icon size will not change.

If appearance screen is launched by right clicking on desktop > Change desktop background. Now try to change the Launcher Icon size it will not change.

If I launch appearance by searching it, only then the launcher icon size will change.

I have installed Ubuntu 16.04.1 LTS Xenial on oracle virtual box - 5.1.12 r112440 (Qt5.6.2)
kernel version 4.4.0-31-generic
