Is there ever going to be an option to disable the chameleon effect?

Just wondering if future versions of Unity will allow users to disable the chameleon effect without downgrading.

You can already do that in CompixConfig Settings Manager (CCSM). Just override the color in the options of the Unity plugin.

You're welcome. The option is kind of hidden, indeed. I use a shade of black so the Dash and Launcher look like they did in 11.04.
