When can we exect Unity 6?

Since I'm a big fan of Unity, I can't wait for the first version of the next series. Just out of curiosity, when can we expect the first version landing?

We plan on releasing the first proposed 6.0 version of unity around this week. Although currently there are not too many new features implemented, mostly bug fixes.

It runs smoothly :-). Now I'm wondering when we'll finally see some new features. Feature freeze should be around the 23rd if I'm not mistaken?

Unity 6.0 in itself won't land in 12.04. However, some of the bug fixes from 6.0 have been backported to Unity 5.14 which landed as an update days ago. The same applies to Unity 6.2, 6.4 and so on.
