How to hide default Quit action in Unity Launcher

Asked by Alexey Ivanov

How to hide default Quit action in Unity Launcher context menu on "locked" programs??

This "Quit" action ugly - its do > "close only" opened windows, not "if program hided in tray", not "killed process".

Example: In various languages this "Quit" action translated various.

To hide this action via LauncherAPI i created new Quit action and translated into some languages (not all).
To hide default Quit action i need have item named like this default action.

But i can't create my "Quit"action and i can't translate to ALL of current languages.

It is not possible to hide the default quit action in the Unity launcher context menu. Every launcher icon has three basic menu options which are the application's name, lock to launcher and quit option. This is possibly hardcoded. You can however try asking the developers yourself at #ubuntu-dev or #ubuntu-unity in the IRC freenode channel. You will get an immediate answer there.

Hope this answers your question. If then please mark this question solved. Otherwise let me know if you need more information.
