Can Unity get volume control for music players?

We could have cool feature. If we have opened music player, we have big square on the panel on the left. It would be very convenient, if mouse wheel up/down would increase/decrease volume of player.

I would like to propose such idea too - where should I write? :)

Michal you should also try to discuss this idea on the Ayatana mailing list since it is related to Unity. You have to first join the group at https://launchpad.net/~unity-design and then subscribe to the mailing list. This way you can get immediate feedback for your ideas.
