Workspace switcher behaviour

Asked by Evgeniy Kirov

Will the Compiz/Unity workspace switcher behave like Mutter/Unity's?

In 10.10 it looks like a combo of "expo" and "scale" Compiz plugins. And this is very handy to drag windows across workspaces because can drag any window.

In 11.04 i can't drag the window to another workspace if it's overlapped by another window.

Well I actually dont think the workspace switcher is final yet in natty. So report a bug about not being able to see all of the windows and hopefully someone will fix it before release.

I agree, the workspace switching behavior in Maverick was a lot nicer. The current switcher is ugly and still needs a lot of work in my opinion.

I have a lot of trouble when switching a window from one space to the other because the window will not get perfectly positioned into it's new location. Eventually you have to switch space to be able to hold the header and drag it to the top position.

Can you help with this problem?
