Unity and accessibility -- keyboard navigation

Asked by DavidBriscoe

Are there plans to add keyboard navigation to Unity?

While I can see Unity being great on a tablet, I rely on my keyboard. My biggest turn off in Unity is the lack of a keyboard command to invoke search (top left button) and the lack of keyboard navigation in the dock context menus (go up and down to select items) and in search results (enter successfully launches the first search result, but there's no apparent way to select another result or to browse the results).

Actually keyboard navigation is available in UNITY and it works perfect. Pressing the SUPER KEY unveils the DASH (search menu) and you can search by typing the name of the required app or file etc and can navigate between apps/files etc by pressing the arrow keys.
And, the Query is too old you must have got the answer by now :)
Thanks.

Yes, all the features you mention were implemented since Ubuntu 10.10 (which I was using when I first asked). Now I use Unity all the time in Ubuntu 11.04.
