I'd also like to see this reopened and have issues fixed. To me, having the menus be attached to the windows when not maximized makes the most sense to me. Any time I have multiple apps visible simultaneously, accessing menus is a nuisance.

FFM is a requirement for me. I've been using it for almost 20 years. I know I can enable it on the side, but that's rather sucky.
