I will resist the urge to wonder why you are reporting a bug to tell us that you would like to file a bug.

In May, I specified how focus-follows-mouse might be catered for with the global menu bar. <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/MenuBar#focus-follows-mouse> I don't think it would be a good use of the Canonical DX team's time for them to implement it. I can't even guarantee that any future change in Unity's design wouldn't prevent that design from working. But I wouldn't mind if someone else implemented it.
